It surprised me that some brides want their wedding anniversary to be on Halloween! Some even go as far as having a Halloween-themed wedding ceremony and/or reception. It can be looked at as ultra cool or extremely crazy--depending on which way your family and friends lean regarding wedding traditions.
Some have the ultimate All Hallow's Eve reception: bridal party and all guests dressed in costumes. Others make it very simple: masks as favours for guests and costumed bridal party or just masks for everyone.
Remember your wedding reflects your fiance's and your tastes. There will always be purists and traditionalists but for every 5 of them, you will find at least 1 who wants to buck that trend.
Oh, but we must remember...he who holds the purse strings usually has the final say! LOL
